The food on Hurtigruten cruises is amazing. Each day has a theme from the areas we are passing - Fish, meat, vegetables and ingredients are fresh and loaded at one of the ports of the day.
Breakfasts and lunches are buffet style during pre-scheduled time. with open seating. Hours can shift to accommodate time for  excursions.
Dinners are sit-down meals with assigned tables. Prior to departure you are assigned for a table for the entire voyage. If you want to move or combine with another people, just ask and you’ll be accommodated.
Dinners on your Hurtigruten cruise in Norway are pre-set – no choice, except for the buffet dinners.  If you don't like the food or have some food allergies, then just ask for an alternative. Wine are sold by glass (NOK 100 to 130 ), by bottle or wine packages. Some pictures from dinners below. The menu of the day is presented at lunch.
